Mike Mitchell
Mike has more longevity on Raleigh radio than almost anyone, having been on the air in Raleigh since 1969 when he became one of the original Men of Music on the then legendary Raleigh Top 40 radio station, 850WKIX. Popular with teenagers and adult listeners, Mike has worked at several Raleigh radio stations over the years doing morning, afternoon and evening radio shows.
Mike was a Billboard Magazine Air Personality Award winner in 1971. He has continued broadcasting on the weekends and doing fill-in on Raleigh radio stations "just for the fun of it."
Mike now has fun on 102.9 as our one and only Weekend Superjock.
